Terms of service
Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.merithra.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from us. Please read them carefully. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
This Site is operated by Merithra Ltd ("Merithra", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16702912, with its address at 12 Charlton Place, Manchester, M12 6HS, United Kingdom.
You can contact us at any time at support@merithra.com.
2. About these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how we operate. The version published on this Site at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. We recommend you review these Terms each time you shop with us.
If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in full effect.
3. Eligibility
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, and be capable of entering into a binding contract. By ordering, you confirm this is the case.
4. Products
We sell skincare, beauty and wellness products, and digital products such as guides and eBooks. We take care to describe and show our products accurately, but:
- Colours and finishes may appear slightly different on your screen than in person.
- Product descriptions, ingredient information and usage guidance are provided in good faith and for general information. They are not a substitute for professional medical or dermatological advice. If you have sensitive skin, allergies or a medical condition, please patch-test and consult a professional before use.
- We may change or discontinue products at any time. If a product becomes unavailable after you order it, we will let you know and offer a refund or alternative.
5. Orders and contract
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We will send you an order confirmation email acknowledging that we have received your order. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation telling you the goods are on their way (or, for digital products, when access is made available to you).
We may decline or cancel an order — for example if the product is unavailable, if there has been a pricing or description error, or if we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised use. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund you in full.
6. Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include applicable taxes where stated. Delivery charges are shown separately before you confirm your order.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of order. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel the order.
While we try to ensure all prices are accurate, errors can occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will contact you and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel the order.
7. Delivery
We ship worldwide. Estimated delivery times and charges are shown at checkout and in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including customs processing, courier delays or weather.
International orders: you are the importer of record and may be responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs charges levied by the destination country. These are not included in our prices and are your responsibility. Please check your local rules before ordering.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
8. Your right to cancel and return (consumer rights)
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. To cancel, email us at support@merithra.com within that period. You then have 14 days to return the goods, and we will refund you within 14 days of receiving them back (or of receiving proof you have sent them).
Important exceptions — for hygiene and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned or refunded once opened or used:
- Cosmetic and skincare products that have been opened, unsealed or used (this is a standard hygiene exemption under consumer law).
- Digital products, including The Method to Perfection and any other eBook or guide, which are delivered immediately and are final sale. By purchasing a digital product you agree to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once access begins.
To be eligible for return, physical products must be unopened, unused and in their original packaging, returned within the period set out in our Refund Policy.
This section sits alongside our Refund Policy and Shipping Policy, which form part of these Terms. Where this section and those policies cover the same point, read them together; nothing here removes your legal rights as a consumer.
9. Faulty or incorrect items
If something arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, contact us at support@merithra.com as soon as possible with your order number and a photo. Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (for UK consumers) are not affected by anything in these Terms, including your right to a repair, replacement or refund for goods that are faulty or not as described.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, images, branding, the Merithra name and logo, product photography, and our digital guides — is owned by or licensed to Merithra Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell or commercially exploit any of it without our written permission. Purchasing a digital product gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it; it does not transfer ownership or the right to share or resell it.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to: provide false information; infringe our or anyone else's rights; upload harmful or unlawful content; attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Site; or misuse the Site in any way that could damage Merithra or other users.
12. Your account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
13. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR. Please read the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use and protect your information.
14. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — this includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses (we supply to consumers for personal use). To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
15. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as supply failures, courier disruption, extreme weather, or interruptions to the Site or payment systems.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms removes those protections.
17. Contact
For any questions about these Terms, your order, returns or anything else, email us at support@merithra.com and we will be glad to help.
